Snezana Vojvodic joined Brown Wright Stein Lawyers in September 2011 as a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team and she was promoted to Partner in July 2012.

She was admitted in 1996 and has advised and acted for corporations, both private and public, high net worth individuals and insolvency practitioners across many jurisdictions in New South Wales, including the District Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court and the Court of Appeal covering a broad range of areas. She has experience in running commercial cases involving property disputes, joint venture disputes and trade practices issues, shareholders’ disputes, breaches of directors’ duties, insolvency and tort based litigation.

Snezana has vast experience in the conduct of mediations, arbitrations and negotiated settlements.

Snezana’s recent experience includes:

  • Acting for a co-director and shareholder in a dispute concerning the assets of various related overseas companies and trusts worth several million dollars, including the division of those assets following a negotiated settlement.

  • Acting for a large listed energy resources company in disputes involving breaches of contract and trade practice issues.

  • Acting for a public company in a large scale dispute arising from a joint venture which also involved trade practice issues.

  • Acting for two companies, under instructions from receivers, in a misleading and deceptive conduct claim arising out of the purchase by the companies of contaminated land in which the damages are estimated at $22 million.

Outside of work she enjoys travel, theatre, cinema and reading.
